This blog acts as a record of the different activities and locations of the New Forest 'Forest-Church' meetings.
It's a place to come back to revisit a theme or a verse or to see - and comment on - some of the thoughts and reflections that arose from the session.

Autumn Leaves - Detachment
Following current government guidelines, we will not be gathering this month. However, as usual, we have created material for you to go either alone or with your bubble into a natural space and follow the thoughts for this month. Just as we did last month, we will be gathering via Zoom on Sunday evening to still meet and talk about our experiences and thoughts.
New Forest Forest Church for November 8th 2020 can be found here:
I couldn't be with you all on Sunday. But I've been outside today to look at the trees with some or hardly any leaves on, the leaves that are, at the moment hanging on to the branches with dear life. I've recently read a book by Brian Draper called What Matters Most. And chapter 5 is called Let it go. Brian talks about the ancient spiritual practice of letting go and that deep down we really hoard or hang on to far too much. Whether it's spiritual or material items. Please try and read the book if you can I'm sure you will find it a good read with plenty of thoughtful insight into everyday matters.
